Boston, MA – The Massachusetts State Police have announced new parking restrictions for Boston’s BAA Half Marathon on Sunday, aiming to reduce congestion near the marathon route.

The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will enforce these restrictions in key areas, starting Saturday night. The impacted routes include the Riverway “inbound” from Brookline Avenue to The Fenway, the Arborway “outbound” from Centre Street to South Street/Forest Hills MBTA Area, and Perkins Street from Parkman Drive to The Jamaicaway.

Parking restrictions begin at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and will last until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Marathon participants, spectators, and residents should plan alternate parking arrangements and anticipate potential delays.

The Boston Police Department advises locals to be mindful of these restrictions to avoid towing or fines. Drivers are encouraged to use public transportation to alleviate congestion.

Boston’s BAA Half Marathon brings thousands to the city each year, and these measures help ensure a safe and smooth event.
