Lebanon, IN – The Boone County Fraternal Order of Police Richard G. Brown Memorial Lodge No. 110 has announced the start of its 28th Annual “Christmas with a Cop” program, aimed at helping local children enjoy a brighter holiday season.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, last year’s effort raised more than $50,000 to provide winter clothing and gifts for over 370 children, ages 12 and under. Organizers have set a $60,000 fundraising goal for 2025, anticipating even greater community participation.

Lieutenant Craig Fouts, president of Boone County FOP Lodge 110, said the program continues to thrive thanks to local generosity. “It’s about the people and businesses of Boone County giving to help families in need,” Fouts noted. “All funds stay right here to support Boone County children.”

Applications for participation are now available at the Boone County Justice Center, Lebanon Police Department, Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department, and Zionsville Police Department. Completed applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on November 26, 2025.
