Yorkville, IL – A Big Rock man was arrested Wednesday after an incident at the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office parking lot. Tyler Moss, 27, was found unresponsive in his vehicle and appeared to be intoxicated.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies discovered Moss had outstanding warrants for unlawful use of a weapon and possession of explosives, both felonies. When deputies tried to provide medical assistance, Moss allegedly battered an officer and assaulted two paramedics.
Moss was taken into custody and later charged with aggravated battery to a police officer (a class 2 felony) and aggravated assault to paramedics (class 4 felonies). Moss was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
After receiving medical treatment, Moss was released with pre-trial conditions following a court hearing. His charges include the outstanding weapons-related warrants.
