According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded just after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2025, to the 3900 block of Mathis Street after reports of shots fired into a residence. A bullet allegedly entered the home and struck the juvenile in the leg.

The child was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition, investigators said.

Authorities released a B.O.L.O. (Be On the Lookout) photo showing the individual wanted for questioning in connection with the aggravated assault case.
