Martinsburg, WV – A joint narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a 63-year-old Martinsburg woman after authorities executed a search warrant Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Criminal Investigations and Patrol divisions, assisted by the Martinsburg City Police Department Detective Bureau, carried out a warrant at a residence on Hedrick Avenue around 12:33 p.m. on October 15, 2025 (Wednesday).

During the search, investigators allegedly seized about one ounce of cocaine base (crack cocaine) and a small quantity of marijuana.

As a result, Misty Johnson, 63, was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine Base, according to the sheriff’s office. Additional warrants and investigations are pending for others connected to the residence.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Martinsburg City Police Department for its partnership in combating illegal drug activity in the area.
