Baltimore County, MD – A late-night crash in Cockeysville left one person dead and three others injured Friday, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.

According to police, officers responded around 9:45 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, to the intersection of Poplar Hill Road and Merrymans Mill Road for a reported single-vehicle crash. Authorities say the vehicle was traveling southbound on Poplar Hill Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree.

Emergency crews arrived to find multiple আহত occupants inside the vehicle. An adult passenger was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

Two juvenile occupants, including the driver and one passenger, sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. A second juvenile passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken for medical care.
