Aroma Park, IL – Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police are actively investigating a burglary that occurred at a grocery store in Aroma Park, Illinois. The incident took place around 2 AM on Thursday.
According to reports, deputies responded to an alarm at the store and found the front door shattered upon arrival. Further investigation revealed that a red Dodge Caravan had approached the front of the store, from which two male suspects emerged. Equipped with a backpack and a crowbar and wearing masks and gloves, the suspects fled the scene heading south on Bridge Street before deputies arrived.
At this time, no details have been released regarding the monetary value of items taken from the store. Kankakee County Crime Stoppers is urging anyone with information about the burglary to contact them at 815-93-CRIME.
