Little Rock, AR – Arkansas residents can look forward to mild weather in Little Rock this weekend, but a cold front approaching from the Plains is expected to bring rain and thunderstorms early next week. The pleasant conditions through Sunday will provide an ideal window for any outdoor activities before rain moves in on Monday, potentially affecting morning commutes and travel plans.

According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, Thursday will see mostly clear skies with a high of 67 degrees. Temperatures are expected to cool down to 42 degrees Thursday night. By Friday, sunshine continues, though temperatures drop slightly with highs around 63 degrees and a clear night low of 42. Residents can expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday with a high of 66, making it a great day for outdoor events before clouds start moving in late Saturday night.

Sunday remains partly sunny, with a high reaching 72 degrees and clouds increasing by nightfall. Rain showers are likely to begin Monday, bringing the highest chance of precipitation at 60%. The forecast predicts thunderstorms as well, creating possible travel delays and slippery road conditions. Temperatures will continue mild at 72 degrees on Monday, but the front will introduce cooler air afterward.

Looking further ahead, scattered showers might linger into Tuesday, with temperatures dropping to a high of 68. By midweek, the weather should clear, bringing sunshine and calmer conditions across the region. Residents are advised to prepare for potentially wet and stormy weather by securing outdoor items and planning for delays.
