Little Rock, Ark. – A round of light rain will move into Arkansas late Monday night and continue through Wednesday morning, bringing a cooler but pleasant Tuesday across the state with highs in the 70s.

According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, morning lows will dip into the upper 40s and low 50s in northern areas like Harrison (48°F) and Hardy (47°F), while much of central and southern Arkansas will start the day in the mid-50s. Rain chances will increase steadily from the southwest through the day, though most areas should remain dry early.

By Tuesday afternoon, highs are expected to climb to 76°F in Searcy, Pine Bluff, and Brinkley, with Little Rock topping out at 75°F. Western cities like Mena and De Queen will stay cooler in the upper 60s. Though rain is expected later in the day, no severe weather is currently anticipated.

Drivers should be alert for slick spots on roads, especially during the evening commute. Keep umbrellas handy and allow extra travel time if showers develop during the afternoon. No major school or road disruptions are expected.
