Flagstaff, AZ – Snowfall continues to build in Northern Arizona, with areas near Flagstaff under a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight tonight. Drivers along I-17 and I-40 should prepare for hazardous conditions as heavy snow accumulates.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers will intensify this afternoon, tapering off by late evening. Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected in Flagstaff, while areas west, including Williams, could see up to 8 inches. Residents are urged to slow down and use caution on snow-covered roads, especially during peak travel times.

Looking ahead, skies are expected to clear Wednesday afternoon, with highs in the mid-30s. By Thursday, sunny conditions will return, bringing daytime highs near 44°F.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for continued snow showers in the morning, with high temperatures near 35°F and additional accumulation of up to 2 inches. Travel disruptions are likely, particularly on bridges and overpasses.
