A 29-year-old woman from Van Buren Township died early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Jackson Avenue near Gralake Avenue.
According to the Ann Arbor Police Department, officers responded at approximately 4:12 a.m. to find a vehicle that had been traveling westbound before continuing straight as the road curved. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree in the median, and overturned. The driver, the sole occupant, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, with assistance from the Ann Arbor Fire Department and Huron Valley Ambulance.
