Albany, NY – Albany residents can expect a mixed weather pattern over the coming days. Thursday will see partly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching 75 degrees. Overnight, temperatures will dip to a cool 54 degrees.

The forecast shows a steady warming trend into the weekend. Friday will be sunny with a high near 80 degrees, while Saturday and Sunday bring highs of 82 and 83 degrees, respectively. Overnight lows will hover in the mid-to-upper 50s.

According to the National Weather Service, a slight chance of rain is expected on Monday, with a 40% chance of showers. Temperatures will peak at 83 degrees, followed by a drop to 61 degrees overnight.

The rest of the week will remain mostly dry, with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to lower 80s. Tuesday and Wednesday will see partly cloudy skies with highs of 78 and 80 degrees, respectively.

This follows an unusually wet August in Albany, marking the fifth wettest on record. Total rainfall reached 7.96 inches, significantly above the monthly average. Residents should be prepared for possible further rain, although no severe weather is anticipated.
