Albany, NY – Warmer air is pushing into eastern New York just in time for the weekend, but rain will quickly follow, bringing a shift back to cooler conditions by early next week.

Saturday will be the warmest day, especially south of Albany, before showers develop during the afternoon and continue into Sunday.
Cities across the Hudson Valley and western New England will see increasing cloud cover Saturday, with rain becoming more widespread into Sunday. Travel impacts may increase during periods of steady rain, though severe weather is not expected.
By Sunday afternoon and into early next week, cooler air returns, with highs dropping into the 40s across much of the region. Overnight lows may dip into the 20s and 30s in some areas.
