According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 a.m. today, with mixed precipitation expected to create icy roadways. Drivers should use caution, especially on bridges and overpasses. A Cold Weather Advisory follows from midnight to noon Thursday, with wind chills as low as zero degrees.
Thursday’s high will reach only 30°F, with gusty winds making it feel even colder. Friday begins a warming trend, with sunny skies and highs near 41°F. By Saturday, temperatures climb to 48°F, with partly sunny conditions. Sunday will bring even milder weather, with highs reaching the low 50s.
Residents should dress in layers, check on vulnerable neighbors, and protect outdoor animals.Use safe heating methods indoors and avoid carbon monoxide risks. Travelers should check road conditions before heading out.
