By Sunday, a 20% chance of showers will develop in the afternoon, rising to 50% Sunday evening. Highs will hover near 46°F, with overnight lows around 34°F. Residents planning outdoor activities should consider early Saturday, as rain may impact Sunday evening plans.

Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday will see partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 40s to mid-50s, giving Huntsville a mild start to next week.

Drivers should watch for icy spots on roads such as Highway 72 and Interstate 565 overnight as temperatures plunge into the 20s. Bundle up tonight and prepare for possible rain by Sunday with umbrellas and rain gear.
