Othello, WA – Authorities arrested a 27-year-old man Friday in connection with a drive-by shooting on South Kristina Road. Deputies responded to reports of gunfire Thursday evening at approximately 8:30 p.m. They found the residence struck multiple times but confirmed no injuries.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, investigators identified Brian S. Ramirez of Othello as an alleged suspect. Deputies worked through the night, executing search warrants to gather evidence.
On Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., the Othello Police Department located Ramirez at his workplace. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail for suspicion of drive-by shooting.
Authorities confirmed the incident was isolated, with no ongoing danger to the community. The Sheriff’s Office commended its team for their swift efforts and collaboration with local law enforcement.
