Nashville, TN – A red Nissan struck a mother and her 10-year-old daughter riding an electric scooter on Nolensville Pike Saturday evening. The driver sped away, leaving the girl with critical injuries.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the collision occurred in the bike lane. The young girl was immediately taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. Her current condition remains critical, and authorities are urgently seeking information to locate the driver.

Police released images of the red Nissan, captured from surveillance cameras, in an appeal to the public for assistance. The department is encouraging anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the driver to come forward. Witnesses are asked to contact the police at 615-742-7463.
