Mystery in Indiana: Masked Man Critically Shot in Broad Daylight

EAST CHICAGO, Indiana – A shocking incident unfolded yesterday morning when East Chicago Police were called to an address in the 3500 block of Guthrie Street following reports of a shooting. 

According to police reports at 10:45 a.m., officers discovered a male, donning a ski mask, with a gunshot wound to his neck in the courtyard.

The victim, now in serious condition, was moved from St Catherine Hospital to a Chicago-based hospital. A person of interest was later found, and a gun was recovered from the scene.
