MERRILLVILLE, Ind. – The final phase of the I-65 concrete restoration project is set to disrupt traffic patterns in Lake County.
Beginning next week, lane closures between U.S. 231 and U.S. 30 are scheduled from approximately 8 p.m. Sunday, October 15 to 5 a.m. Monday, October 16. The overnight closures aim to shift southbound traffic back to its regular configuration. Upon completion, previously closed ramps at the I-65 interchanges with 109th and U.S. 231 will be reopened.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution as median work is expected, with two lanes operational in each direction, shifting the work zone to the left of the traffic flow.
