Dyer, IN – Rescuers Save Ducklings from Storm Drain in Joint Effort

Dyer, IN – This morning, a team effort by the Dyer Fire Department, Public Works, and Police Department successfully rescued several ducklings trapped in a storm drain.

According to the Dyer Fire Department, the rescue operation commenced after the ducklings were discovered. Firefighters and public works personnel worked together to safely retrieve the ducklings and reunite them with their mother. The ducklings have since returned to their normal routine.

The department’s lighthearted Facebook post shared details of the rescue, featuring images of the ducklings and expressing relief at their safe recovery.
