Diamond, IL – A recent incident in Diamond, Illinois, has led to Grundy County implementing stringent new ordinances to tackle illegal migrant bus drop-offs.

After a bus full of migrants unexpectedly arrived at the Diamond Gas and Wash around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, January 8th, the county officials took prompt action. In response, the Grundy County Board approved two ordinances, including a $750 fine per passenger and the option for civil suits against the bus companies.

Local law enforcement intercepted the bus in Diamond, preventing any passengers from disembarking. The bus later proceeded to the Metro Station in Wheaton, where the migrants boarded a train to Chicago
