JOLIET, IL — The 25th annual Light up the Holidays Festival Parade, sponsored by the University of St. Francis, is set to dazzle Downtown Joliet on Nov. 24.
Starting at 10 a.m., the day-long celebration includes free activities, a parade featuring local school bands at 5:30 p.m., and a special 25th-anniversary commemorative mug for sale.
The North Pole Christmas Market and activities like an iceless skating rink, character photos, and Santa visits add to the festive atmosphere. The day concludes with the tree-lighting ceremony at 5:15 p.m., highlighting the holiday spirit in Joliet’s vibrant city center.
