Orland Park, IL – Police are investigating a death after a man was found deceased inside a home Wednesday evening in Orland Park.
According to the Orland Park Police Department, officers responded at approximately 6:31 p.m. Wednesday to the 14100 block of Concord Drive for an assist-ambulance call. A 911 caller reported a man was already deceased inside the residence.
Officers located 77-year-old Samir Kassem inside the home and confirmed he was dead at the scene. Police said a death investigation was initiated in line with standard procedures.
Authorities have not released a cause of death, and it remains unclear whether foul play is suspected. Officials said that, at this stage, there is no risk to the public.
