Midlothian, IL – Police have apprehended a 16-year-old male following an incident involving a firearm discharged within an apartment complex.
Officers who responded to the 14700 block of Homan Avenue at about 6:10 PM found that a bullet had been fired from within one apartment into another. The juvenile was taken into custody for alleged Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and was processed at the Midlothian Police Station.
Local law enforcement’s effective and coordinated response was pivotal in de-escalating the situation safely.
