AURORA, Ill. – Prepare to honor our local heroes in a spectacular display of gratitude! The City of Aurora is gearing up for its annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on November 11.

Set against the backdrop of Downtown Aurora, this event promises to be a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving our nation.

Starting at 10:15 AM at the corner of Benton and Broadway, the parade will march proudly down Broadway and make its way to Downer Place. It’s a sight to behold as veterans and their supporters unite to celebrate their commitment and sacrifice.

The grand finale will take place in front of the G.A.R. Memorial Hall at 23 E Downer Place. At precisely 11 AM, veteran organizations will fire a military rifle salute, echoing the historic moment when the armistice was signed to end World War I. Don’t miss this opportunity to show your appreciation and join in the Serving Our Country and Community ceremony.

For more information about this event, reach out to the City of Aurora Community Events Division at (630) 256-3370.
