Felton, DE – Delaware State Police have identified an 80-year-old Maryland man who died following a fatal crash Sunday in Felton, located in Kent County.

According to Delaware State Police, the victim has been identified as Dennis Giles of Goldsboro, Maryland. The crash occurred on Sunday, May 10, and remains under active investigation.

Authorities say the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Details about how the crash occurred have not yet been fully released as investigators work to determine contributing factors.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information related to the incident to come forward. Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen events leading up to or immediately following the collision.
