Target said in a statement it will require face masks in all stores, beginning August 1st. The retailer will reportedly provide disposable masks as well to customers who don’t have one.
CVS competitor Walgreens has been asking customers to wear a mask since early May.
Target and CVS join a growing list of retailers nationwide now requiring masks. Just this week, Walmart, Kroger, Kohls, Whole Foods, Starbucks and Best Buy have all announced new mask requirements when visiting in store.
