SHOCKING: CDC estimates put ‘actual cases’ near 20 million in US pandemic

Shocking estimates from the CDC this afternoon as officials report actual COVID-19 cases may be as high as 10 times what are currently reported.

“Our best estimate right now is that for every case that’s reported, there are actually 10 other infections,” CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield said this afternoon in a call with reporters.

At those estimates, that would put current cases to date somewhere in the area of 20 million in the United States.  As of this afternoon, there were 2.3 million cases reported since January in the US.
