Naperville, Sept. 9, 2023 – Naperville residents were gripped by fear on Saturday night as an armed robber struck on the 1500 block of W. Ogden Avenue.
According to police reports the assailant, cloaked in darkness and armed with a handgun, targeted two unsuspecting victims, making off with an undisclosed sum of cash and a cell phone. A getaway in a high-speed dark-colored SUV added to the tension, leaving witnesses stunned.
Reports describe the assailant as a Black male donning all-black attire and a mask, this menace remains at large. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
