Most Deaths in a Day, 73 for Illinois as 1,287 new COVID-19 cases announced

380 Illinois citizens have lost their lives to COVID-19.

That announcement by State of Illinois officials earlier this afternoon as Illinois announced an additional 73 deaths in one day.  The most for any given day since the pandemic began.

New cases in Illinois rose to 1,287 for a single day with totals for the state at 13,549.  The State reports 77 of 102 Illinois Counties now have confirmed cases of COVID-19.
