KANKAKEE – The Kankakee Public Library will be having a Book Sale with thousands of books from the Library for sale, including adult non-fiction and fiction, and children and teen books. The majority will be non-fiction which will include true crime, art, music, DIY and crafts, cookbooks, history, self-help, religion and philosophy, education and languages, literature and poetry, geography, biographies and memoirs, and more. Hardcover books will be $1, paperbacks $.50, and children’s books will be $.25 or 5 for $1.
There will also be some playaways and audiobooks for sale as well.
The Book Sale will be held on Thursday, April 29 from 4-6 for Kankakee Public Library card holders only as a special preview. The sale will then be open to the public on Friday, April 30 from 2-6 and Saturday, May 1 from 9-1. It will be held in the Library’s 4th Floor Auditorium.
