The Illinois National Guard has released a video in response to their deployment at Shapiro Developmental Center in Kankakee.
As of Sunday, 59 residents and 46 employees had tested positive for COVID-19. The facility says 2 employees have returned to work. No information has been released by Shapiro regarding possible fatalities associated with COVID-19 cases related to the facility.
