Hero Bonus announced for Kroger Employees

Kroger has announced they’ll be providing workers with a ‘hero bonus’ due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kroger Co announced the move on Tuesday, saying they’ll supply workers with a $2 premium bonus above standard base rate pay to hours beginning on March 29^th through April 18^th.

The store has hired more than 30,000 new workers in the last two weeks, including workers who had previously worked in harder hit sectors hit by COVID-19, including hotel workers and food service distributors.
