NAPERVILLE, IL – Terrell Maclin-Dupree, a convicted felon, was swiftly arrested Thursday at a Naperville 7-Eleven after an alleged loaded firearm was discovered.
Responding to a distress call on July 7, Naperville police discovered Maclin-Dupree allegedly shoving a woman into a car. During the arrest, officers allegedly found cannabis and a loaded .22 caliber pistol. With two prior unlawful weapon charges, Maclin-Dupree’s $1 million bond, set by Judge Margaret O’Connell, serves as a warning. “Career criminals will be held accountable,” stated State’s Attorney Robert Berlin. Chief Jason Arres praised the partnership and commitment to community safety.
Maclin-Dupree’s next court appearance is scheduled for August 4.
