SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A 18-year-old Naperville teenager, Aidan Andrew Theis, has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend multiple times in the back last week.
According to reports, motives behind the attack were reported due to the suspect’s anger over a video featuring the woman. While the current condition of the victim remains undisclosed, it has been confirmed that she suffered a punctured lung as a result of the brutal assault.
The incident took place just before 3 a.m. last Thursday when the injured woman ran into the lobby of Scottsdale Sonesta Suites Hotel, seeking help, bleeding profusely. Theis, in a subsequent police interview, allegedly admitted to attempting to take her life after discovering sexual videos involving her and another man.
Theis is now being held on $125,000 bond and faces multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder.
