
Kankakee County Health Department officials announced 26 new cases Wednesday, which brought the County’s totals over 835 cases to date.
On Wednesday, Governor Pritzker announced the first death of a Veteran in the State due to the pandemic had occurred at the Manteno Veterans Home.
Three new deaths were announced by County Health on Wednesday, brining death totals to 36 since the pandemic began. At least 167 of those have recovered. Wednesday’s newly announced cases included 2 children under the age of 13.
