Accident results in car flips near Courthouse on Court Street in Kankakee

KANKAKEE – An accident Wednesday morning resulted in a car flipping on its side near the Kankakee County Courthouse.

It happened a little after 10:52 am when emergency personnel responded to an accident on E Court St and North Harrison Avenue in Kankakee. Early reports of two vehicles involved in a wreck, with one vehicle flipping on it’s side.

Kankakee Sheriff’s Police advised residents to avoid the area while crews respond to the scene.
