The Kankakee County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) Board elected new officers during its annual meeting on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. The 11-member board is represented by the County of Kankakee, City of Kankakee, City of Momence, Village of Bourbonnais, Village of Bradley, Village of Manteno, Bourbonnais Township Park District, Kankakee Valley Park District, Kankakee County Lodging Association and Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce.

Participants who visit Mound Grove Cemetery will get a guided history lesson as they are led to grave sites of former residents, portrayed by actors in period costumes, and share something of their lives and times.
