NAPERVILLE, Ill. — In a month’s time, the Naper Settlement in Naperville, Illinois, will be transformed into a lively haven of traditional German revelry as it hosts its annual Oktoberfest celebration on October 6-7.
Under a sprawling heated tent, the festival promises an impressive selection of brews to quench your thirst.
From Hofbräu Oktoberfest to Spaten Oktoberfest and Schöfferhofer Grapefruit, the event boasts one of the largest Oktoberfest beer varieties in the area. Competitive spirits can test their mettle in the stein holding contest on Saturday – a true test of strength and determination.
Family-friendly activities abound, with lawn games for kids and professional pumpkin carving demonstrations for all to enjoy. A professional pumpkin carver will be on-site, crafting jack-o’-lantern masterpieces.
