Aurora Church Set to Enchant Audiences with “From Vienna with Love” Concert on September 24

AURORA, Ill.– Music enthusiasts are in for a treat as the renowned Orion Ensemble embarks on its 31st season with the captivating concert “From Vienna with Love,” set to mesmerize Aurora on September 24.

The harmonious melodies will fill the air at the New England Congregational Church, 406 W. Galena Blvd., Aurora, starting at 7 p.m. Following the concert, a delightful reception in the church narthex will allow attendees to mingle with the talented musicians.

This exquisite musical journey features works by two musical geniuses, Mozart and Brahms. Audiences can expect to be serenaded by Mozart’s “Duo in G Major for Violin and Viola” and “Quartet in E-Flat Major for Violin, Viola, Cello, and Piano.” The enchantment continues with Brahms’ “Trio in A Minor for Clarinet, Cello, and Piano” and the captivating “Scherzo in C minor for Violin and Piano.”

The Orion Ensemble boasts a stellar lineup, including pianist Diana Schmuck, violinist Florentina Ramniceanu, clarinetist Kathy Pirtle, and cellist Judy Stone. To add to the brilliance, the ensemble will be joined by guest violinist Stephen Boe.
