UW–Madison rises in entrepreneurship rankings

UW–Madison ranks No. 6 among U.S. public universities for undergraduate founders and No. 18 worldwide, rising nine places overall in one year. The PitchBook rankings also show gains in graduate and female founders. Based on venture-backed companies launched over the past decade, the results highlight the university’s growing entrepreneurship network and offer insight into how campus programs support student and faculty ventures.
