Grand Rapids, MI – Snow showers and bitter wind chills will continue in Grand Rapids on Thursday before a gradual warm-up into the weekend. Drivers should prepare for slick roads, especially in the morning, as light snow lingers across the region.
According to the National Weather Service, a 30% chance of snow showers is expected Thursday morning, with a high near 24°F. Wind chills will make temperatures feel even colder, especially inland, where they could drop below zero overnight. Roads may remain slick as light accumulations create hazardous driving conditions.
Friday will bring mostly cloudy skies with a high of 28°F, followed by a chilly night with lows near 18°F. However, by Saturday, temperatures will begin to climb, reaching a high of 27°F under partly sunny skies. The warming trend continues Sunday, with highs nearing 34°F and a chance of clouds.
By early next week, highs could approach 40°F as the arctic front moves out, providing a taste of spring. Stay updated with local forecasts, and drive cautiously on slick roads.
