Lubbock, TX – A cold front is bringing cooler temperatures and breezy north winds to Lubbock today, with a chance of snow flurries early Tuesday. Temperatures are expected to climb into the 60s before dipping to overnight lows near 39°F. Residents should prepare for wind gusts of 10-15 mph as the front moves through.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s high will reach 64°F under partly cloudy skies. Overnight, temperatures will drop to the low 30s, setting the stage for Tuesday morning flurries. While snow accumulation is unlikely, travelers should exercise caution on roads, particularly along Highway 62.

The five-day forecast shows sunny conditions on Wednesday with a high of 57°F, followed by mostly sunny skies Thursday and a gradual warm-up into the low 60s by Friday. Overnight lows this week will hover between 32°F and 36°F.

For those planning outdoor activities, today offers the most favorable weather, but layers are recommended as temperatures cool quickly in the evening. If snow flurries develop Tuesday morning, expect visibility to briefly decrease during the early commute hours.
