Watseka, IL — The Watseka Police Department is seeking public assistance to locate 33-year-old John Schoonover, who was last seen on October 29. Schoonover, a resident of Watseka, reportedly informed his wife that he intended to harm himself. He has not been seen or heard from since.
According to the Watseka Police, Schoonover was last spotted wearing a gray Carhartt hoodie, sweatpants, and Puma shoes in gray, blue, and black. He stands 5’9” tall, weighs around 330 pounds, and has dark brown hair. Concern for his well-being is growing as family members continue to search for any clues.
The Watseka Police urge anyone with information to contact them immediately at 815-432-2431. Missing People in America, an organization dedicated to helping locate missing individuals, has also highlighted Schoonover’s case in hopes of drawing further public attention.
Schoonover’s loved ones remain hopeful for his safe return and are working with local authorities to spread awareness. Any information, no matter how small, could help bring Schoonover home safely.
