Indianapolis, IN – Indiana residents can expect a drop in evening temperatures over the next few days, with lows dipping into the 40s, according to the National Weather Service. The daytime forecast, however, remains pleasant, with highs ranging from the mid-70s to low-80s under clear, sunny skies.

According to the NWS, today’s high will reach between 74 and 77 degrees, with nighttime lows falling to a brisk 47-52 degrees. On Thursday, temperatures will slightly increase, with highs between 77 and 81 degrees and lows ranging from 51 to 57 degrees.

Looking ahead, Friday will bring even warmer weather, with highs climbing into the lower 80s and lows hovering around the mid-50s. As the weekend approaches, temperatures are set to rise further, with Saturday and Sunday seeing highs of 85 and 87 degrees, respectively. However, nights will remain cooler, offering some respite from the heat.

Next week, temperatures are expected to peak with highs potentially reaching into the 90s by Monday and Tuesday, signaling a shift from the cool nights to much warmer days. Despite the fluctuations, the weather will remain dry and predominantly sunny throughout.
