Louisville, KY – Pleasant weather will persist in Kentucky through the remainder of the week, offering a welcome break from the summer heat. Midweek temperatures are forecasted to stay between 74°F and 79°F, with sunny skies and mild conditions dominating the forecast.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Louisville, temperatures will increase as the week progresses. Thursday will see a slight warm-up, with highs reaching between 78°F and 84°F. By Friday, temperatures are expected to climb even further, hitting the upper 80s, with Saturday bringing a high of 88°F.

As the weekend approaches, the heat will intensify, with Sunday expected to reach 90°F. The trend of rising temperatures will continue into the following week, with Monday and Tuesday forecasted to see highs in the low to mid-90s.

Despite the increase in temperatures, air quality remains good, with an index of 37, which is similar to previous days. This period of mild weather provides an excellent opportunity for outdoor activities before the late August heat returns over the weekend. Residents should prepare for the warmer temperatures by staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged sun exposure during peak hours.
