Green Bay, WI – Wisconsin is set to experience a relatively quiet weather pattern this week, with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures, bookended by potential storms toward the end of the week.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, patchy morning fog on Monday will give way to partly cloudy skies with highs reaching the mid-70s away from Lake Michigan. While most of the day will be dry, isolated sprinkles or light showers are possible during the afternoon. Winds will remain light from the north at 5-10 mph.
For those planning to head out on Lake Michigan, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect tonight due to northeast winds between 10 to 20 knots, with gusts up to 25 knots. Waves are expected to be between 3 and 5 feet, making conditions hazardous for small crafts, particularly south of Sturgeon Bay.
The rest of the week is forecast to remain mostly sunny, with highs ranging from 70 to 79 degrees through Thursday. A slight chance of rain returns late Thursday into Friday, as a weak system moves through the region, bringing a potential for scattered showers.
As the week progresses, temperatures will gradually increase, with highs approaching the low 80s by the weekend, making for warm and pleasant conditions just in time for outdoor activities.
