The National Weather Service (NWS) in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued alerts regarding severe weather potential, particularly in southwestern Wisconsin, where the heaviest rainfall is anticipated.

According to the NWS, storms are expected to redevelop this afternoon, carrying the risk of becoming strong to severe, especially in far southern Wisconsin near the Illinois border. Residents in this area should remain vigilant as these storms could bring gusty winds, hail, and heavy rainfall. The potential for isolated tornadoes also cannot be ruled out.

The forecast for Milwaukee indicates rain throughout today, with temperatures reaching a high of 74°F. Conditions are expected to improve slightly by Friday, with rain chances decreasing to 45% and temperatures rising to 82°F. However, showers may persist into Saturday, maintaining a 45% chance of rain with highs in the mid-70s. By Sunday, conditions are expected to clear, bringing sunny skies and cooler temperatures around 77°F.
