As the day progresses, temperatures are expected to rise dramatically. Highs will range from the mid-80s in Topeka and Salina to over 90 degrees in Wichita and Harper. With humidity factored in, heat indices will soar to dangerous levels, with some areas reaching up to 105 degrees.
