Duluth, MN – Northern Minnesota will experience a return to seasonal temperatures this week, with weather conditions fluctuating between mild and rainy. Duluth and surrounding areas can expect light rain and sprinkles during the afternoons, starting Sunday and continuing through Tuesday. Highs for these days are predicted to range from 75 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit, with lows dropping between 51 and 62 degrees at night.
However, Wednesday brings a heightened chance of thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon. According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, calm winds will prevail earlier in the week but will pick up to 10-15 mph by Wednesday, potentially intensifying the storm activity. Highs on Wednesday will hover between 75 and 83 degrees, while lows will stay in the mid-50s to low 60s.
Residents should stay updated on weather alerts and prepare for possible severe weather midweek. The latter part of the week is expected to cool down slightly, with temperatures in the low to mid-70s, and continued chances for rain into Thursday and Friday.
